Location and Facilities
Marlborough Girls' College is located in Blenheim, the centre of the Marlborough
region, which is internationally famous for its wines, seafood and horticultural
products. Blenheim is a friendly community within commuting distance to
the capital city of Wellington with extensive ferry and air links to all
parts of the country. Blenheim is an excellent town for students to undertake
secondary studies where they can speak English extensively in a safe, internationally
orientated community.

Academic Programme
Marlborough Girls' College offers a full range of academic and vocational
courses at every level. Fully trained and qualified teachers prepare girls
for all national examinations and standards achieved are among the best
in the country. A full programme of ESOL is available.

Extra Curricular Programme
Music, drama and sport are important aspects of Marlborough Girls' College
commitment to developing a balanced and successful individual; 23 different
sports and 20 different music, drama and speaking activities are available.
Student Welfare
A system of friendship buddies, form teachers and the International Student
Dean provide a network of support for students. The College understands
and is supportive of the needs of international students who are away from
home.
Accommodation
A small family type school hostel, Innes House, offers a high standard of
accommodation. The special needs of international students are catered for.
Caring, high quality homestay is also available. Details are available upon

English Language Entry Requirements
English conversation competency is recommended.
English Language Support
Up to 25 hours per week of English language study with a qualified and trained
ESOL teacher is available at no cost as part of the school programme.
Fees
Tuition fees are NZ$7,950. Accommodation fees are NZ$7,920 per year. Other
costs available upon application.
