Mieko Ishikawa is a tax accountant in Yokohama who decided to "have an overseas experience and study English before it is too late and I have to look after my parents in their old age." Being a woman who is crazy about fishing, I decided to send her to a school inTauranga because it is in the Bay of Plenty (where the Kiwi Fruit was developed), a region famous in New Zealand for its wonderful climate and close proximity to some of the world's best deep sea and trout fishing - as well as surfing, diving etc. Her story below.
