Yuka graduated from Ichigao High School in Yokohama and wants to work in the global hotel and airline industry. Knowing that in order to do so she had to be able to speak English well and get a world recognised qualification, she came to Kiwi College. After filling out our Student Requirentents Survey form, we realised that because of her love of the outdoors and skiing, Queenstown was the place for her. So we sent her to one of the four English language schools we represent there and she is now in an advanced IELTS (International English Language Testing System - which is used by universities and polytechnics in New Zealand, Australia and Europe ) class with two other Japanese students and one from the Czech Republic. After getting an IELTS score of at least 5.5, she will start a course in International Hotel and Airline management in a New Zealand polytechnic. In the meantime, she is enjoying herself in lovely Queenstown as you can see below.
