Shigemi's page

Shigemi Ishii is a volunteer Japanese language teacher for Yokohama City in the Aoba International Lounge. She wanted to experience life in a foreign country, so we sent her to Crown English with her friend, Hatakeyama-san in the (New Zealand) winter. Although the weather was notso good, they were lucky to have a homestay in one of the best parts of town and had such a good time that she has been back again to Palmeston North, a small provincial city, and is going back again to Auckland to do an aromatherapy course next year.

Shigemi's homestay house from the road,
actually, what you see is the garage as,
like in many modern New Zeaknd houses,
you drive your car into the garage
and walk from your car straight into your house.

but without the machine gun fire.
